Which of your data do we process? And for what purposes?

We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your registration and/or have entered in the lists of participants provided in order to enable your personal participation in a Novocure event or to be able to contact you for further events. Furthermore, photo and/or video recordings may be made in the course of events. We will inform you separately about this before the start of an event. These recordings will be used by our office for public relations purposes in connection with the creation of reference and/or marketing materials. If you do not consent to this processing, please contact us to make your recording unrecognizable by pixelation. Furthermore, we collect your data that you have provided to Novocure for further processing in connection with an initial contact (trade fair, training, roundtable, etc.).

What is the legal basis for this?

Legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this context of Art. 6 GDPR in the version applicable as of 28.05.2018.

How long will the data be stored?

Your data will be kept for audit purposes according to Art. 6 paragraph 1 lt.c GDPR for 5 years and then deleted.

To which recipients is the data passed on?

Your data will be disclosed to third parties only to the extent that we need to use third parties to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.

Where is the data processed?

The data is processed on servers in the USA on the basis of EU standard clause contracts.

Your rights as a „data subject“

You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you.
In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may then require evidence from you that proves that you are the person you claim to be.
